In my continuing series of recipe ideas, we bring you Series FOUR of our Protein Shake Recipes. Today’s recipes have the same theme – blueberries. They are a great source of anti-oxidants and have been found in research to reduce blood sugar and cholesterol levels.

Blueberry Cheesecake

8 oz. skim milk
2 scoops vanilla protein powder
20 frozen blueberries
1 tsp. graham cracker crumbs
2 oz. fat-free cream cheese
5 ice cubes

Blueberry Lemon Freeze

8 oz. skim milk
2 scoops vanilla protein powder
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 tbsp. sugar-free instant lemon pudding mix
5 ice cubes

1 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 cup frozen mango chunks
4 ice cubes

Blueberry Peach Cobbler
8 oz. skim milk
2 scoops vanilla protein powder
15 frozen blueberries
1 cup frozen peach slices
1 tsp. vanilla extract
4 ice cubes

Blueberry Pie

8 oz. skim milk
2 scoops vanilla protein powder
1 cup frozen blueberries
2 Tbsp. Graham Cracker Crumbs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
6 ice cubes

1 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 cup pomegranate juice
5 ice cubes

 

Blueberry Pomegranate Breeze

8 ounces low fat Milk
4-6 ice cubes
(1) 4 ounce tub of Musselman’s Healthy Picks Blueberry Pomegranate Applesauce
2 scoops vanilla protein powder
2 tsp. Jello® Sugar-Free/Fat Free Cheesecake Pudding mix

Blueberry Vanilla Pear

8 oz. skim milk
2 scoops vanilla protein powder
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 pear (chopped)
4 ice cubes 

Blue Banana

8 oz. skim milk
2 scoops Vanilla protein powder
1 banana flavor packet (or 1/2 frozen banana or both)
15 frozen blueberries
5 ice cubes

Blue Hawaiian Shake

8 ounces low fat Milk
2 scoops Vanilla protein powder
Small handful of frozen blueberries (unsweetened)
5-6 Dole frozen pineapple chunks
1/8 tsp. coconut flavoring
