Protein Shake Recipes – Series TWELVE, Lemon, Mango and Monkey

In the next installment of the protein shake recipe series, we feature lemons, mangos and a monkey shake. Mix and match with other ingredients to suit your taste. Frozen fruit works well and you can reduce the amount of ice.

6 oz. water
2 scoops Vanilla protein powder
30 frozen raspberries
1 tbsp lemon juice
5 ice cubes

Lemon Mango

4 oz. skim milk
2 scoops Vanilla protein powder
1 cup frozen mango
1 6 oz. fat free lemon yogurt
6 ice cubes

8 oz. skim milk
2 scoops Vanilla protein powder
¼ cup Simply Natural limeade
1 tsp. sugar free lemon pudding mix
6 ice cubes

 

Limeade

8 oz. vanilla soy milk
2 scoops Vanilla protein powder
1 Tbsp. frozen limeade concentrate
6 ice cubes

1 cup milk (any type)
2 scoops Vanilla protein powder
1 cup chopped mango
1 cup ice (if mango is frozen, omit the ice)
1/4 tsp real cinnamon
1/4 tsp ginger
1 dash ground cloves

Mango Peach

8 oz. skim milk
2 scoops Vanilla protein powder
1 tsp peach extract
6 chunks frozen mango
3 slices frozen peaches
3 ice cubes

Mocha Frappacino

1 cup cold, strong coffee
2 scoops Vanilla protein powder
1 Tbsp. cocoa powder
6 ice cubes
Add a teaspoon or more of instant coffee to give it a boost!

Monkey Shake

8 oz. skim milk
2 scoops Vanilla protein powder
1 small banana (6 inches)
1 Tbsp. cocoa powder
6 ice cubes
